I seem to catch it once or twice or a year, but I really only watch the chase scene.

I know Bullet is a very popular cult film. Honestly, I think I can only say I saw it (on the silver screen) back in '69 or '70??

I have only seen the whole movie a couple of times, but I have seen the chase scene 15 or 20 times.

I assume you are talking about "Bullit" as in Steve McQueen? I'm sure I have seen it, but I can't remember the plot or anything.... I guess I'll have to watch it now.

i know its hard to believe but... i've never seen the movie... there were many years i just didn't watch any tv and a few years i didn't even own one. maybe i just never had the chance who knows... but it never seems to be offered even on my digital cable...

i have seen Vanishing point at the theater, my favorite car flick of all time, but it never seems like these shows are even offered....
a friend told me about an excellent show called " Black Hardtop Sedan", or something like that, with james taylor in it that he says was real good but have never seen that offered either...

maybe i'm just to far up north or to far east or maybe both !!

My first car was a 1968 Mustang Fastback, the same body style as the 1967 Bullit car. So, naturally I have watched bullit probably 10+ times and the chase scene by itself maybe 20+ times. Great movie!!

I had that chase scene recorded. The only realistic part was at the begining when the bad guys put on their seat belts, rounded the corner and the Charger did that great sure grip burnout. The rest was all Hollywood. After seeing it so many times it was easy to pick out the fake parts. The hub cap did fly off several times. The only performance part related to the Mustang was that laughable in reverse wheel hoping burnout that Mcqueen did.
Another funny parts was listining to the Mustangs sound effects. THe car never quit shifting gears. Must have had an eighteen speed tranny because it never stopped shifting while it was moving.

If Bob Goetz is able to work out a "drive in" night for the Dells event maybe we can get them to show Bullitt, Two Lane Blacktop, and or Vanishing Point.

Wow - I have seen it at least 6 or 7 times. The more you watch it the more hokey the chase sequence!

I liked the "chase" scene in Frnech Connection when he was chasing the train. I thought it was pretty realistic back then, but haven't seen it for years.
