Should be interesting if they meet up with the Virginia Cavs in a bowl game! One thing is for sure, this season will help the Huskies' football recruiting and add some $$$ for recruiting.

My beloved Huskers are going to the Finger Bowl in Sneakee Falls, Idaho. First losing season since 1961 and the first time missing a bowl appearance in thirty five years!

It's the end of the world,,I tell ya,,,,,,the end of the world.

AC, They may be crappy. But, at least they can still kick the crap outta MU. Agreed. End of the world.

Louisville is stuck going back to Memphis for the Liberty Bowl unless a miracle happens with some other top teams. We have the #1 rated quarterback (190.1 efficiency rating - Best in NCAA and 74+% completions - best EVER in NCAA) The #1 scoring team and the #1 total offense. WE whooped Cincinnati in the rain today today 70 -7, but still don't get a warm weather bowl. Thank God we'll be in the Big East next year.

Marty, U.C. gets trounced by Louisville 70-7 and they finish the season with a 6-5 record and they are going to a bowl game. Notre Dame is 6-5 and is going to a bowl game. Is this like the NBA (almost every team makes the playoffs) now where every team goes to a bowl game. This has gotten way out of hand.

Ed - I know you were traveling back from Florida but what the hell were the Cincy players thinking when they came out and made it point to go out of their way and stomp up and down on the Louisville mid field logo before the game?

All it did was incite the Louisville fans, players and coaches. We were pi$$ed that the second and third strings played half the third quarter and all the forth quarter and let UC score 7 points! After half time (42-0) there were ZERO Cincy fans left in the stands. By the end of 3rd quarter (63-0) even thew UC band left.

Marty, I haven't read any of the papers yet. I was unaware of the logo incident. Pretty stupid. I thought they got that stupid AFTER they left college and became millionaires.
They do not draw very well here but there has been no winning tradition, either. The high schools draw as many fans to the good games as UC draws.
I am surprised any fans travelled down there to watch, to be honest.

Not sure if it can be true,,,,but heard today the U of Cincy is being invited to play in the Forth Worth Bowl on Dec. 23rd??? No team should accept a bowl game invitation after getting smacked 70 - 7 [last week]

Yeah, they are tickled to be getting a chance to redeem themselves. They ought to redeem their two for one coupons and stay home, in my opinion.

Tom, they are a juggernaut, aren't they! lol They will probably lose 3-0 to Baltimore this week-end. Timing is everything. They picked the QB two years ago and then Big Ben R. goes in the draft the following year. He played at Miami of Ohio, 30 minutes away. He seems to be doing okay with the Steelers. The Bengal line has not allowed a sack in 3 of the last 4 games, so that is definitely a good sign. They are way better than they were two years ago.

At least their performance last weekend was better than the college level Cincinnati team!
