I just got back, and yeah it was crazy. Yes , good prediction. Ac,you know I wasn't rooting for the 97, but congrats to him anyhow. Had alot of fun. Good track, no problems. NICE WEATHER. I really wanted it for Hendrick. Dave Mills, are you out there? I sat next to a guy all day who wouldn't stop with the conspiracy theories!! Every "debris on track" caution and there he would go. By the end he had me believing!! HOW LONG TILL DAYTONA?

I guess sex sells. Even Nascar succumbs to it.
Johnson and Bush, coincidence, I think not.

Tom - glad you enjoyed the race and got to see it live!

I'm not a Kurt Busch fan down deep,,,,,I was just pulling for his FORD to win the championship. I'd rather see Mark Martin win it,,,but that wasn't going to happen. Next in line,,,,I'm pulling for the #9 and #12 Dodges. Next year,

Good point Chris,,,,but two years from now, nobody will remember who came in 2nd or 3rd. Racing is about winning.

i've always been a rusty fan and it would be great to see him do good in the final year but i think it will be a toss up between the #48 and the #12.... wild card will be #9..

go newman !!

halicat,
I agree with your prediction. If Jimmy Johnson was driving anything other than a Chevy he would be at the top of my list.
