USA Registered: JUL 2000	posted 05-09-2003 06:23 PM Karen & I cruised over to Biloxi & Gulfport today to finalize plans for Cruisin' the Coast 2003 and the 3rd Annual Prowler Drags... Not sure how I got away with this but seemed to work so far ... Oh, also bought tickets for Ray Charles concert... Well, we made final Hotel arrangements for Cruisin' the Coast 2003 (Wed. Oct. 8th through sun. Oct. 12th). You'll have your choice of two hotels with POA group rates at The Beau Rivage in Biloxi, MS. ($99) or the Hampton Inn in Gulfport, MS. ($79) . 3rd Annual Prowler Drags - Oct. 10th, 11th Also stopped by the Gulfport Dragway to make arrangements for the 3rd Annual Prowler Drags to be held during CTC 2003. This dragstrip hosts the CTC Drags on Friday night Oct. 10th (begins at 6:00 PM) and Saturday Oct. 11th (begins at 10:00 am). I met with the owner of the track and asked if we could have private track time on Friday before the scheduled CTC event. She said OK and suggested 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. She wants to check with her part time personnel and will give me the final OK this week. Could not use No Problem Raceway this year because the B&M Drag Series has their Event all day Fri., Sat, & Sun. during the CTC weekend. I'll post all the information in the events section later this weekend or no later than Monday night ... Here's some pics... Hampton Inn in Gulfport near I-10 (5 miles from Dragstrip) Gulfport Dragway - Home of the 3rd Annual Prowler Drags... ------------------
