Gary I know a lot of work went int o your car and I just would like to tell you it is simply beautiful!!!! We have a very special car to begin with but yours stands out in prowler land. I am wondering without fenders, does much dirt and rocks get kicked up? I am thinking of building a highboy and that question sticks out in my mind? |

I have pretty much have run without the fronts all the time except once. I am the second owner of this car and the car has run over 6000 miles with front fenders I was surprised the sides really don't get hurt to badly, maybe like 3 very fixable small chips. I have seen people get chips in their paint with fenders and full flaps, go figure,,,,,, One day here in Indy I had to run through some day old asphalt and pretty much had a small shower, it was actually funny to me....
I have only done about 200 miles on the HiBoy, haven't seen any chips yet, but I will be coming out with a product that all Prowler owners will have on their cars if they are worried about any chips on the sides. OMT, the Kat looks great in photos but she is a 20 footer, she still needs some massaging and repaint to make her perfect. OMMT, I think the Dunlops because of their tread design trap more pebbles than the OEM tires but again they are twice as hard as the OEM tires so the stickier stock tires would hold the rocks a little longer because of the sfter compound, JMO.... Do the HiBoy... |
