Roy coming back to Carolina is big news here. All the news media broke in on regular programming here last night to carry the news conference. Front page news today.

He handled it fairly classy I think. Praised KU for giving him the chance to do his thing and named all the players at KU one by one. Says he is coming home. Born/raised in Black Mountain, NC, played and assistant at UNC, kids went to school there (son sat the bench on team), has a house at Wild Dunes (SC island beach community near Charleston), has always kept his membership at The Governours Club (counrty club outside of Chapel Hill), has owned a lot on the course at Governours across the street from Dean Smith and beside Micheal Jordan for years and has most of his family still living in NC.

His vocal hatred of Duke plays well with the Carolina faithful and that he is a product of the Carolina system may afford him the patience with the win at all cost boosters.

I'm no big Carolina fan, but Roy's coming will make things more interesting along Tobacco Road for the next few years.
