This weekend is the Good Guys show in Del Mar with over 2,000 cars. What I enjoy most is seeing all the hot rods driving around town. It's cool to see rods at restaurants, gas stations and just buzzing up and down the roads. The “trailer Queens “ are beautiful but seeing them driven and on the roads is really cool!

Del mar Hilton Parking lot Friday Morning and surounding area.

I am shocked by the gas prices out there. Gas is back down to the very high $ 1.30's to mid $ 1.40's here, for regular. Some nice looking cars, which was the point of the pictures.

You can see what gas prices were in San Diego back in 2003 in the first post.

I was last year the first time at Del-Mar. Its a beautiful Fairground. The Quality of the Rod & Customs is very high (and expensive) in Del-Mar.
My favorite show are the Goodguys West Coast Nats in Pleasanton. This year I visited the Pleasanton Goodguys all american get together. They are open for Prowlers too.
( like 3 other Goodguys Shows in Pleasanton)
I plan to visit Del-Mar in 2006 again and do a little bit more sighseeing in this area.
Greetings , Condor"
