I am sure you guys have started playing already. Our boys have had their 3rd game. This year Piru didn't have enough kids for 2 teams so they formed 1 team and play the Fillmore teams.

Cliff,
We are 3 and 3 right now. We have no games this week so we get a little break. We had a light practice yesterday and then nothing 'till April 2nd.

The team is having alot of fun. One of our very decisive wins last week( 17 to 6) was against a team that beat us 12-2 on opening day. We did not come together as a team until the 3rd game.

We have very few kids in our league too but we managed 5 teams this year instead of 4 like last year. The downside is that we are sometimes playing with only 8 kids who show up for a game.

That is pretty good! 3-3 this early. We are 2-1 and have our opening home game on Saturday. The original opening day was rained out.

Keep us updated on your progress. Do you guys have to forfiet games with only 8 or is there an understanding because of the number of kids the teams were made up with?

I think our league had 15 kids sign up for Majors. They had to bump some down to minors or not let them play. Kind of a bummer.

We are supposed to forfeit with only 8 players but we are bending the rules since we don't have an abundance of players.
