I know some do not post, some are doubles, some just signed up to sell something and some are vendors, but it is still 2200. Way to go POA.

It would be interesting to see how many of those 2200 frequent the board.

I saw that someone bid $46 for a set of front mud flaps on eBay so I sent them an email telling them about the POA and suggested that they might be overpaying a little for the flaps.
He responded that he owns a '99 and thanks for the info. I expect he will sign up shortly if he has not already. Based on his email address he is probably a teacher. Lives somewhere in CA.
I think there may be a wealth of Prowler owners who use eBay and have never found the POA.

Based on the number of hits that some topics receive,I would tend to guess that a lot of members browse the board but only a small portion actually contribute with opinions.

Perhaps but, not necessarily.

Look at it this way, you start a new topic.
25 folks look at it, then someone replies.
That puts it at the top and those same 25 look again.
Perhaps this time, 1-2 of them reply.
Each time someone replies, it gets moved to the top again.
And marked as New (or rather a new reply has been added).

The point being that the same 25 folks keep reviewing it every time something new is posted.

Very good point, but then it makes you wonder why someone would become a member in the first place(if they have no intention of coming back to the site or replying to posts).
Of those 2200 members, how many actually own Prowlers(I don't know if you can find that answer on the Owner's Registry)?

Could be a number of reasons:

1) They had a prowler, now they don't

2) they wanted to sell a prowler (or other item)

3) They wanted to ask a question

#2-3 would require you to sign up to do either.

I'm sure there are other reasons too.

How many subjects do you view a day in here?

How many to you go back to in a given day when a new comment is added?

350 (folks) x 15 (views) x 30 (days) = 157,500

Granted there might be more folks.
Granted they might not come here 30 days a month.

But, some may view/re-view topics more then 15 times a day.

On average, I comment, look at, respond to, start 40-60 topics a day. I know, I use Microsoft Site Server.

Managing hits, refering pages, and demographics is one of the things I do with our various sites and interests.
