Whether you personally support the war effort or not,,,,let us pray for the safe return of those brave American men and women who were called to serve their country to disarm Iraq, so that our children and grand children will have a safe country inwhich to live.

Dschelle was on the airwaves this morning slamming President Bush for not giving diplomacy a chance and failing at it.

So much for pulling together. I have no stomach for liberals. Pulling together for them is having the Republicans do it their (liberals) way. They ar a joke.

Daschelle and Gephardt just can't stand the fact that they are not getting any attention, and will never admit that the President is right on tract here.

God help us if those two were running the country right now, or worse yet, Al Gore!

As the mother of a son who is somewhere in the Middle East (due to his particular unit, we are not allowed to know where he is, what he is doing or when he may be coming back and no contact at all) preparing to do the job he has trained for, I would pray that everyone who lives in this great United States will stand behind the President and our military troops in the days and months ahead, regardless of their personal feelings about the decision that has been made. It is crucial for our military troops to know that the people of the country they are defending and supporting are 100% behind them. No one wants to go to war; in a perfect world, everyone would get along and there would be no weapons of mass destruction or biological weapons and no terrorism. Unfortunately, we do not live in those times.

Please keep all members of our Armed Forces in your thoughts and prayers. Pray that our leaders are given the strength to do what needs to be done and that everyone will return home safely. Remember that all of the husbands, wives, sons, daughters and relatives that are serving our country are fighting to keep our country safe............a country that we all should be proud and grateful that we live in......a country that gives us the freedoms to live as we choose.

God Bless America and God Bless Us All

CJ,

We'll say a prayer for your son's safe return.

This affects alot of folks. One of our neighbors (an elderly married couple) where the husband is not in the military but, has top secret clearance was asked to pack and leave 3-4 days ago. His wife doesn't even know where he is. He can phone home occassionally but, has to use a cell phone so even she can't see the area code. Only thing he could tell her was that he was living in a tent (he's 60 y.o.)

His specialty is building refineries

GOD BLESS THEM ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YF - one of the few times we agree on something ,,,,the country must be coming together.

"Dschole" is a hypocrit,,,,he said just the opposite things when his boy Bubba was calling the shots! Even Bubba's latest comments are in direct opposite of what he was saying in 1998. And don't even get me started on those Dixie Chicks,,,,,gheez. I'm not against free speech or stating one's opinion, but during this upcoming time we do need to pull together. For our children and grand children.

I just heard yesterday, that Canada isn't on our team. I was shocked but will reserve judgement at this time. I would like to hear from our north of the border members???

Ditto to all that has been already said! The President IS 100% RIGHT, and you can bet that something is REALLY concerning him that can't be shared, for risk of harming our Intellegence gathering capabilities....Prayers from Julie and Jim to keep our men and women safe, and strong in their fight to protect world freedom! Here's to the safe return of ALL our troops! ******************

Oh, I suspect we agree on a lot more then either would admit to.

Show your support for the President and troops, don't buy anything from the Dixie Chunks and if you have any of their CD's, return them broken to where you bought it.

Our daughter Jill has been in the US Navy for 9 1/2 years and is returning to the aircraft carrier USS Harry S Truman (CVN-75)in June which is currently deployed in the Middle East. She recently re-enlisted for another 6 years.
As a Vietnam veteran, Nancy and I can not be more proud of her decision to defend our freedom.

Best wishes and a sincere THANK YOU to ALL of our Military,

Jay

Dave Jr. is still serving in Korea. Craig (PTLeftTurn) is currently at McGuire AFB in NJ. Agreeing with the effort is not important, showing support for our troops is.

May God be with our forces!! I pray insane Hussein will take the offer to leave, but he is much too arrogant to be capable of reasonable thought.

YellowFever, send that man out to California!!! the price of gas is outrageous - the excuse, not enough refineries.

Kelley, Jay, Dave and anyone else who has relatives serving in our military......I will also keep all of them in my prayers and thoughts. Our oldest son served four years in the USAF and our younger son, Brian, has served 11 1/2 years in the USAF and two years ago, committed to six more when he was selected for the unit he currently serves in.
