........I always loved black cars, still do.....but due to getting old and lazy I only have one black car now.....this is a picture of the "one that got away"....it had only 3,600 miles on it when I sold it a few years ago....there were only about 6-7 of the Challenger T/A 340-SIX PAKS built in black....this is believed to be the only triple black 4-spd left....but it was a pain to keep clean.......just thought it might bring back some memories to some of the "vintage" Kat owners....I don't like being old, but I am glad I lived in in the 50's and 60's.....the world never will be the same again,(probably a good thing).....Steppenwolf, Doors, Byrds..... 8 track players, no A/C, AM radios, ten cent fountain Cokes, the girls were younger then .............

Ran a color balance filter on this image. Basically removed alot of the yellow in the image.

Dan.... ......nice work.....already saved it to my library.....another shot showing the stripes, the car was very hard to photograph and make the stripes visible....the stripes only came in black on the T/A, thats why black was not a recomended color for the T/A or the AAR 'CUDA...there were a handfull of black AAR 'Cudas made also.....hens teeth ring a bell ????.... I was quite a few pounds younger when this pix was taken, it was inside the local Chrysler plant during an open house several years ago.......
