Dear AlleyCat,

I thought I would drop you a short note about Prowlin' the Seas. After losing my job in December, I finally pan-handled enough money in the D.C. metro stations to afford this trip. This trip was a blast, the people, the scenery, the shopping "stuff" - read that as 400 jewelry shops per square foot. I took your advice and tried to keep a low profile on deck 4.....the CASINO - BlackJack tables with "MISTER" BlackJack himself - Leon - watching him gave me inspiration. Thanks again to Ben, Lynn, Nancy and Jay for puttin' this thing together.

The best news of the trip was that John(Fixxum) and Sharon renewed their vows. I'm sure you where just as shocked as I was that they weren't legal, after 15 years and three kids. I understand marrying your first cousin, being from down south, but I never heard of doing it twice. It must be some legal thing in their home state. I think Sharon was just trying to figure out if it was going to workout first! Thanks to John and Sharon for allowing me to be there. Fixxum negotiated a sweetheart(pinkie) ring for me as a gesture of friendship. What a guy!

Kim and Jerry (MeanCat) have finally agreed to help the national security effort. Ft. Knox contacted Jerry personally to help, by dispersing the national wealth as a defense against terrorist threats, to a few select individuals. He helped, by wearing - read "secretly" concealing, over 600 pounds of gold necklaces and diamond rings during this trip. Jerry, you now know why I had to wear my sunglasses around you, the sun's reflections were killin' me.

AC, I gotta tell ya, the rock climbing challengers weren't as you described. GPS John wasn't an old crippled guy and Sandra(Nurse Rachit) wasn't "that" eighty-year-old fit woman from Canada you described. AC, I let you down - 1st attempt 12' from the top - pushed off by a six-year old kid. 2nd - 6 ft from top and I peeled off - like a grape - after being blinded by all the flashes from the cameras. In my defense, the oil slick, on my side, I feel wasn't normal. Well congrats - to the winners!

I finally figured out how Phil and Jane Horvath afford these trips - Mambo stings. Carter and Susan were teaching us how to "mambo". Leon and his wife had the first lesson. I asked Jane to dance and before long I noticed the sweetheart ring was gone. I figured my twirling was off just a bit, but had I twirled Jane to the right, Phil would have pocketed the ring - but luck was on my side and I found it on the floor, much to Jane's embarrassment. Thanks for the lesson Jane! Carter and Susan where poetry in motion - good dancers!

This was a trip!

Thanks guys - my family had a great time.

MeanGene - I'm glad you enjoyed your trip to sea,,,,,leaving me to hire a replacement for you at the D.C. metro train stations to panhandle Its ok though, the guy made me twice the money you were getting there,,,,or were you holding out on my cut of the proceeds?

John and Sharon finally got married? Aren't they cousins? She promised her soul to me,,,,,guess John can have her heart, the three kids, and the credit card bills!

You could have won the wall climbing contest by kicking GPS and Fixumm in the groin before the start,,,,you are losing your touch! I wouldn't recommend that for Nurse Rachit, but WD40 on her shoes would have done the job.

Fixee gave you one of those pinkie rings? Gave Ed and I one each last year,,,,said they were free inside his Post cereal boxes!

Phil and Jane tried to pick your pocket while Mambo dancing? I'll remember to wear my money belt when dancing with them in Nevada during April event

Did Mike and Judy ever come out of their cabin? I heard it was a honeymoon trip for them!

Glad everyone had a great time! Gene, hope you didn't shave during the cruise, as it's time for you to return to your panhandling position next week. Remember, I expect my full cut of the take each day!!!

What a great week... Prowlin' the Seas! A special THANK YOU to the Prowler owners, friends and family who participated in the "First Annual International Prowlin' the Seas" event and made it such resounding success!!!
I think y'all will agree that it was FANTASTIC week in Paradise... a beautiful ship... lots and lots of delicious food... great weather (no snow) and FUN, FUN, FUN events.

These events included the Bacardi Rum Factory & El Yungui Rain Forest Tours in San Juan... basking and gawking at St. Maarten's Orient Beach... shopping & island sightseeing in St. Thomas and the Wild Thing (an adventure, not Leon)... swimming with Stingrays in Nassau... what a Prowler Event with not so much as one wheel to clean or bug to remove for an entire week of Prowlin' fun!

And of course the "GPS John Rock Wall Challenge" was fun and aptly name for the Men's division winner! Who is going to be challenging John for his title next year?

We already have Lynn & Ben working on the "Second Annual International Prowlin' the Seas" POA Winter Event for 2004! It will be in the January/February 2004 timeframe with different ports of call in Paradise. Stay tuned for more info.

Nancy and I enjoyed being with all of you... meeting many of you for the first time... renewing old acquaintances and we really look forward to more FUN, FUN, FUN Prowler events together in the future.

Again, THANK YOU all of the participants who contributed in making this a "world-class" event.

Best wishes, Nancy and Jay

PS... pictures to follow ASAP

That's funny....I can imagine everyone fighting to play that arcade game due to Prowlin' withdrawal...

What's the name of the arcade game?

Thanks for the update MeneGene... Looks like you guys had a great time... With I was there... I would have missed all of this damn snow I'm sure Bill (Niteman) is happy to see a Purple Kat represented on the cruise... Did Jay put any Shimmers on the machine??? I'm almost surprised a few RC Kats did not make there way aboard... You guys could have had races...

Family looking sharp as always & full of smiles... Looks like the boys grew quite a bit since Skyline...

Can't wait to cruise together on land again!!!

Your Buddy,
WildBill

I hope Fixumm can raise the money for his wife ring.(I told her the 3k looked to small the 5k looks a lot better). the only exercise I got was ringing mike Judy's door bell then running down the hall as fast as I could. Most people should know that fixumm face did not get burned in the fire. And last but not least MEANGENE doesn't need to work for a living his 21 was great. Not more then 10 times did i have to borrow money from him to stay with him at the table. But it was a good time for all the week went by to quick. And every one was a lot of fun.(even phil)
