I've been trying to find some insurance for my new trailer. Past posts show Nationwide, State Farm and Geico will insure the trailer. My current company, Progressive, doesn't insure the trailers for collision or comp. at this time. Anyone else carry collision/comp on their trailer with a company other than the three above? I currently pay $321/6 months on the Kat for full coverage. Any leads would be appreciated.

What Curtis said....Out here, we only have liability on the trailers, the comp and collision is covered by the vehicle towing the trailer. Double check with the insurers in your area.

In Indiana it has to be a separate policy. Neal------------------

Same here in Iowa. The liability is covered by the tow vehicle. If you want the comp/collision on the trailer, it's a separate policy.

Hey Gary Archer - when you first read the subject title did you think the post was going to be about (your) Tennessee Home Owner's Insurance?

Prowler - with State Farm, they carry our homeowners, both vehicles, the kat trailer and multible rental property insurance. Plus we are both over 50 with no tickets, claims, or accidents in last five years so we get all discounts and lowest rates. (Both of my teenage kids on on my ex-wife's policies -SWEET)
