Since we are talking about cars we have seen and are not out yet…. I saw two Maybach autos. I went to the supermarket two Saturdays ago and there were two Maybachs there. They are only $300,000.00 and $360,00.00 each, sticker.

I didn't know cars came that expensive, but there was an article in AutoWeek on them a month ago. They were both brown and were just sitting there alone. One old guy, my age, was looking at one of them and I went over and checked it out too. No one else even noticed the cars. The one I was looking at inside has a back seat that completely reclines so a man 6' tall can lay completely flat.

I don't know how many people want to spend that kind of bucks for a car that looks a lot like a long Mercedes and no one even notices. The one I saw did not have a hood ornament. I think they were supposed to be incognito, but I knew they were something different. BTW, I never checked out the second one it left before I could find it again after I parked.

I will try to put a link to the AutoWeek article on the Maybachs.

Maybach

What is that white stuff all over the car? Is that to protect the finish?

an expensive Mercedes... someone will buy it just because they can, but it's still ugly.

Here are some better pictures of the Pacifica.....

http://www.chrysler.com/pacifica/features/photos/index.html?context=pacifica-features-index&type=subnav

Starting price is $31,230 plus tax........

Hardly a Mercedes and not what I would call expensive. Was able to see the one at the Detroit Auto Show and I thought it was a very nice looking car......and practical to boot!

This will help provide parts for the Prowler in the future, perhaps.

I saw it at the Detroit and Toronto Auto Shows. Real nice inside but I have to agree on the exterior - nothing special.
