Next door neighbor hsa 2 of them and have driven them. Tight well built LITTLE car (it's built by BMW now) but, is too LITTLE for me. With all the SUVs, trucks, HUGE cars out there, there is no way I'd drive one in a crowded city or freeway. You would be the designated loser of any wreck.

In a small rural town, sure, in a heartbeat (er, that's chevys tagline).

Forgot to mention, The quality is 200% better then the old Copper's.

Drove one last year. I was thinking of getting one.
But no tan interior with an "S" and no color combo I wanted made up my mind for me. Fun car, roomy, but I think I would get tired of it in a short while.
I'm too old for something that small except maybe once in a while.

Thanks for comments. I'll pass them on my friend. He's younger (early thirties), his wife has a mini-van and his old pick up gets lousy mileage. He 's looking for something fun to drive for his 45 minute commute and gets decent mileage - under $25K. He will be looking at Turbo PT also.

The PT Turbo hands down over the Cooper. Bigger, more functional, better looking, may live through a crash, etc.

No contest in my opinion.

I was considering buying a Mini Cooper S last year. I test drove one, and it was kind of fun to drive. I ended up not buying one because there were significant markups on them and, like mentioned, they are really small.
