I am not sure, but I have plans this week for a carriage ride, dinner and then jazz/cigar bar.

sounds good till you get to the cigar bar part. I know if I was a girl, a smelly cigar would turn me on. Monica maybe.. JMO

Best one we ever did was give my future wife at the time a glass of champagne and a toast.I told her it was very special champagne. She agreed and too a small sip. I said, No, it's really VERY special champagne. Again, she agreed and took another sip. Again, I said, No, really it's VERY VERY VERY special champagne and you might want to look at the glass while toasting. This time, she looked at the champagne flute and realized that there was an engagement ring at the bottom. Good thing as 1-2 more sips and well,.......

Damn man... What... Am I suppose to give you all of my secrets??? Carriage ride OK... Might be too cold in INDY, But perfect excuse to cuddle... Bring a thermos off hot chocolate or warm wine... Read poetry... Dinner...Obviously not McDonald's or a Bennigan's Try something she likes, find out her favorite dish is or style of food & find a restaurant that fits her tastes... Don't go to a place you know will be really busy... It will end up being too noisy no matter how posh the place is... You have all of the husbands trying to make up for a year of neglect in one night, so the popular places will be very booked... It's all about ambiance... Sometimes a small quaint restaurant with good food & atmosphere is all you need... Find a place with a nice three piece band... no not Rock&Roll... There is a little restaurant here in the city that I love to frequent, that is of the beaten path... Superb food & service... Ambiance is outstanding... Been there so frequent I got to know the Maitre d' really well. I thought it was my little secret until one day the maitre d' told me that he had a special surprise for me... He sat my date & myself two tables away from Tony Bennett who was there with his thirty-something date... There goes the neighborhood I guess it is safe to say that the restaurant was a nice choice... Go for a little walk afterwards or have the carriage pick you up after dinner... Jazz club/Cigar Bar... I agree too smokey...Don't forget you have the whole weekend, you could always save it for Saturday or Sunday's date... Still might work for Friday, some women do enjoy smoking a good cigar every now & then... Usually a lightly flavored one... (I can give recommendations)... OTHER IDEAS... Go ice skating... Instead of a carriage ride go for a sleigh ride... Find a place with music... Most important... Be romantic... Be a gentleman... (Open doors etc) Don't put on a floor show & or be pompous...
***(IF YOU REALLY WANT TO SWEEP HER OFF HER FEET)
-> Work out with the maitre d' of the restaurant ahead of time to bring out a rose or two with every course... -> Before the date send her a dozen white roses -> Buy her a dress & have it delivered to her house after the roses... This is just the basics & there is a lot more you could do, but I hope this helps helps! Any further information & suggestions & I would have to charge... WildBill
Sorry if this doesn't work... I am not an expert... I will be alone this Valentine's Day...

Boy hope she doesn't see this, Pick her up at 4 pm, check in the Suite in Downtown Indy(not giving out exact location) , room service for dinner in Suite, then have to pick up a San Diegan(non Prowler person)from the airport drop him off at my home, then Deb((REDHEAD)lol, that was for you Nita ), and I head back to Downtown for a snack(late) at a Very nice place with long stem white roses being delivered at the table, with a CD I just burned (that she requested) in the box of flowers, then Cigars and drinks back at the hotel. Then to our seperate rooms, NOT,,,,,,,, Next year, White Castles(she buys) and sleep in the back of the Truck

I found out the name/address of the hotel GC stayed at and called Housekeeping Mgr. the morning after. She reported that his room was left in a mess,,,,,three JD bottles, cigar/cigarette ashes all over, two holes burned into the carpet, room service pizza crumbs all over, stolen tv remote, three white roses floating in the hot tub, 'clean' sheets, and a worn out blow-up doll left behind. Should have known this was another dream of his.
