Did the Bucs and the Superbowl have anything to do with your decision?

What's this world coming to? Now they're even charging extra for the remote to run the thing.

Hollywood, that's the same TV we have! (except I didn't get the racing jacket)

One important piece of advice!!!!

When you watch regular programming, make sure you select "ZOOM" so the picture fills the whole screen! If you watch regular programming with the black bars on the sides, you WILL get uneven screen wear and it will show when you watch a HD picture. The spots wher you had the balck bars will appear brighteer as the screen burned in unevenly!!! It happened to us, and all programming fills the screen now. If you used the gray bars, it might not burn in as unevenly, but too late for me to find that out.

I am hoping that eventually the screen burn-in will even out, and I won't have these noticibly brighter bars on either side when viewing HDTV.

I have dish network and currently have HBO, Showtime, and CBS in HD. We are too far in the sticks to get an HDTV tuner for the other stations...we are slaves to sattelite or cable....Sattelite is a much better option than cable though.

Other than that ENJOY! the picture sharpness and quality improves after the TV gets broken in....The only thing I don't like is the auot alignment....I have to hi it a few times to get all the tubes aligned....I wish it was a manual feature.
