This has not started out as a good year for our family. This time it is our son Tad, whom also lives in Utah. While we were there for Brian's funeral we learned for the first time Tad was having medical problems and had lost allot of weight. Since we came home he has been going through a series of tests.
He has been diagnosed with Colitis, which is sores or ulcers on the entire colon, and very likely also has Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC), which is extremely serious. PSC is a degenerative disease which hardens and blocks the bile ducts, eventually killing off the liver. He would then need a liver transplant or die. Walter Peyton, the football star, died of liver failure caused by PSC. Tad will have the test, endoscopic retrograde cholangiography, done in two weeks to confirm the PSC diagnosis. There is no cure for PSC nor colitis. Tad is on daily medication now for the colitis.

Please pray for Tad. He definitely needs prayers at this time. Thank You

As parents also, our hearts go out to the both of you during these very heartbreaking times. Tad, you and Linda will most certainly be in our prayers and we hope for a very positive outcome of Tad's situation. If there is anything that we can do.........please let us know.
