Tami Tami Tami -I am enrolling you, Marty ~AND~ Ed into the YF Reading Classes for complete Comprehension of utter Nonsense. Please try to attend. You all seem NOT to be doing what YF wants. That would be READING THE ENTIRE THREAD!!! - I keep seeing that! (I did read through the entire thread, and his claims make no sense to me, but that's not the point.)

Please do try to understand, as well, that YF means all this in jest. He explained that the last time he was viewed as insulting people. I believe it was in the thread he posted in the General Discussion area which he intended to have the site moderators move into the Off Topic area. You know the thread I'm talking about - it's the thread where he said he was going to leave because he was being mis-understood. If you guys keep this up, remember, YF also posted (and quite correctly) that while ed deflects and polks fun at us -AND- By you calling us a "jackars" what he means to say is that SantaClaws and HiHoSilver feel the same way! Now we wouldn't want to see THEM join in on this nonsense would we? Come on guys - it's bad enough we have to put up with this childish behavior from YF, but when his split personalities and alter-egos are brought into the mix, we just may end up with some kind of meltdown originating from somewhere near the Gulf Coast Region USA and personally, I don't think the POA site can afford to take that kind of responsibility upon itself!

I'd send YF a personal email if I could, explaining to him that I really don't think you guys are getting personal, but I can't seem to find his email address (and I really don't want to waste my time looking for it).

I guess Ed is right and we have all learned a valuable lesson here when Ed posted regarding his friend: (But then again he is probably BSing me.) I guess we can't trust anyone anymore. Glad we have YF to set the record straight - again! Yeeee Haaaaaa
(Opps, I mean Hi Ho Silver... AWAYYYYY.YF !!!!!!!!!!!!)

But you should know that - being the internet guru that you are.
You are correct, which is why I stated I could not find any info. Now, being as how they are suing ANYONE that speaks out against them, there should be a plethora of activity or opinions around. Wouldn't you think?

Ed was trying to help you out, but as usual all you want to do is beat someone down for their ideas and input.

Tami, learn to read sweetie. Making a statement like they are suing everyone with nothing to back it up is not helping out. I asked for the info or place to go to find out more about this too many times to remember. Think about it. How are they getting this info? Where are all these cases? Assuming everyone means more then a handful, are you suggesting no one (not even anybody that knows of this) is not chatting about it????

You always seem to think everyone deeply cares what you think as you stand on that self imposed podium.
I appreciate that that is your view but, no, I never have thought that or expected that once.

Actually 90% of us are sickened by it.
Is that 90% of everyone in your home or have 90% of the registered users contacted you?

Case in point - some time ago I asked if anyone OWNED a Jeep Liberty and what they thought about it - your response - buy a Durango.

Again, WRONG. I said we looked very hard at that car and test drove one for a weekend. Then we drove the Durango and WE BOUGHT THE DURANGO. Just gave you our input of what we thought of the vehicle. I seem to remember saying it was too small for US but, you eluded that it was only for 1 kid in your family so that would be fine.

At no time would the above question have been something you should have even answered - you don't own a Liberty, apparently know nothing about them, but yet felt compelled to go on to tell me what kind of car I should be buying for my daughter instead of the Liberty.

I appreciate the fact you think I can tell you to do anything.LOL!

There's always something that you feel the need to fight over or be ugly over.
If you start and read the begining of this thread, I didn't start slinging but, if someone else does, be prepared to get it back.

You never attend events,

I fail to see what this has to do with anything. I have a family and a life. Sorry, weekends are not spent fawnign all over a car, driving around with 30 of the same cars, or going to car shows. Now, that said, there is nothing wrong with any of those things, just not my cup of tea.

you are not now, nor ever have been worth my time or energy.

Apparently I just was for you to write all of this!

Enjoy your day YF.

Thank you!!!!!

I had a L89 t top Vette, L88 valve springs(the stockers kept breaking), side headers, 4.11 gears, Indy mags, blue streak racing tires and a stick(rockcrusher)of course and progressive linkage on the 3 2 barrels, fast, very fast. this is the car I learned about jetting and how to adjust valves, someone told me that more fuel would make it faster, well It got fatter, then the smartarse told me that leaner made to faster so I carefully leaned it out and learned how to read plugs, boy it made a difference...

This is when I fell in love with the Vettes and all the mods were done by me, very satisfying.....I was 16 or 17

And You Mr. M???

My favorite Vette I owned was an '88 Midnight Blue Convertible with the 4 + 3 speed stick that you could shift like a 6 speed. The car started life as a white coupe with red interior and got rear ended with less than 8,000 miles on it. With the help of some of my cousins and a guy who was doing this as a business, we married a rear clip from a convertibe that hit a telephone head on along with the camel interior to what we had and painted it Midnight Blue. I spent less than $15,000 on it total and ran the snot out of it.

1970 Buick GS 455 Stage 1

Take your choice, hardtop or convertible.

Brad,

I thought the Buick GSX was?

I think it was only available in a coupe version. Had buckets, rear spoiler, big block, and a cool tach on the hood. A buddy had one in fly yellow with white interior. Ahhh, those were the days....

Cool car Mike. Need to hook you up with my neighbor. Has the same in convertible form. Bright red w/ white interior. He chose not to keep his stock and it has something like 650 hp. You can hear/feel him headed for home a mile away.

He also has the only $45K 89 Camaro convertible (his joke, not mine). He has spent about $15K on stereo/tv stuff for it (there is no back seat only amps) and the rest to boost it to 750 rwhp. No dyno run yet but, the builders assured him it's close.

In fact, most of my neighbors are car nuts now that I think about it. One has an 02 Porsche Turbo, 02 600 SL, Range Rover, and a sweet 57 Vette. Next guy has a Hummer, couple mercedes, new mini- cooper. He trades cars monthly (I have no idea how he does this). He has had 5 Hummers in 12 months.

The GSX was a special version of the GS. You could get a 455 Stage 1 in either. The X came standard with a lower rear end ratio. My friend has a '70 GSX Stage 1 4-speed in white with black interior. I love the yellow ones though. I've never seen a white interior. To my recollection the '70's only had yellow or white. They added more colors in 71 & 72.

Mike, I love your Goat. I'd be tempted to trade my Kat for it if that wasn't sacrilegious.

Must be the torque reaction that twisted the frame Same side up on both cars!
Good eye Gary.

Good eye Gary.

Used to love watching that reaction with the shaker hood scoop on my 79 T/A (last year of the big block and 4-speed)

LOL, can't remember which car it was, one of the many hot cars my dad had on his lot, when I broke the engine mount and damaged the hood, grounded for weeks, had to ride the BUS( Huge Ego buster when the week before you were driving your Vette to school) and cleaned the mechanics toilets at the dealership on the weekends for a month, LOL.

The cleanest room in the Dealership and all the employees knew I'd screwed up again, basically clean all the TIME.

Well, back to the subject. 1971 Cuda was what I was looking for before I found my Kat, so I think I will say that. I LOVE those gills/fins. Gotta get some on my KAT!!!
