I was sorry to hear about the passing of Maurice Gibb. While not a fan of the early Bee Gees, or even their more popular Disco era, I grew to like their falsetto harmony and especially the S.N.F album. Rest in Peace Maurice

Al - Andy told me that you were the KING of disco in NYC, and attended Studio 54 every other night? T or F No wonder you now have back problems. The BG's are ok, Maurice, keep the music going in heaven. ------------------

False! As usual Andy has distorted the facts. The truth is that I used to frequent Burger King In NYC 54 times a month and the extra weight gain led to disc problems. See how untruths start? Let the truth be known! This message has been edited by butchcee on 01-12-2003 at 09:50 AM

Back in a former life as a television reporter, I interviewed the Gibb brothers. They were all friendly and forthcoming. Maurice came across as very intelligent and thoughtful.Several years later my wife and I were on vacation in Sydney, Australia, and were in a music store that was playing "One Night Only", the Bee Gees live album. The music brought back lots of fun memories of our younger days. In January, 1980, I saw the Bee Gees in concert. It was one of the best live shows I've seen (outside of KISS, of course). One-third of a great musical group is gone. R.I.P., Maurice. Kevin ------------------ 2002 Inca Gold "Washed, waxed and in the bag!"
