Could someone please tell me the difference between Xenon and HID headlights? Looked at the 350Z and it has HID, while the 330i has xenons. Thanks |

Xenon refers to the noble gas in which the electric arc is made, and HID stands for High Intensity Discharge - the name for the technology. For marketers, it's easier to make "Xenon" sound cool... Hope this helps! ------------------ New pictures in Personal Scrapbook (9/26/02) |
