VaCatDudeSr retiring...

My dad, whom many of you have met, is looking forward to retiring. He only has about a week left and I can tell he is very excited.

The first thing he is doing is having a minor operation on his foot. He's not a computer person, but if you post to this thread, then I will see that he reads it... This will give him something to do while he is recovering...

later!!!

Congratulations on your retirement, CatDude Sr.!!! Good luck with the surgery and best wishes for a very speedy recovery. Then you can get down to the business of being retired!!!

Retired life is not all that it is cracked up to be. I never know if it is the weekend or a weekday. I have no off days to look forward to & I am no longer building up any vacation days. It is a lot tougher than it looks so bear down and work your way through it.
Congratulations.
Spend time with the kids and grandkids, if you have any. You deserve it. You have a fine son and you can be mighty proud of him. Hope to see you again at one or more of the events.

Rodger,

Congrats on the retirement - as one of the older members of the "East Coast Posse", you have officially become our spokesman - like Col. Sanders without the chicken.

Happy retirement Rodger. Now you can attend ALL the Prowler get togethers with your son and when he runs out of vacation I guess you will just need to borrow the Kat and come to the get togethers by yourself. As my Dad always said. "When I was retired I never had and free time, how did I manage to have a full time job?" Keep busy and you can enjoy life to the fullest.

Roger: Best of luck on you retirement and on the surgery. It is about time Damon starts looking after you. Don"t believe what Ed says about no time off after retirement. You have a lot of time off, you just can't do anything with it.

Enjoy.
