Living in Indy, I guess i should have a vested interest in the Jets ... but I'm a life long Vikings fan. The only thing they could get out of this past season was draft picks and they screwed that up by winning the last couple!------------------

My cheers, no money will be on the Raiders too, I'll be on the 50 yard line for the games. Don't even care if it will be up on Al Davis Hill, lol ------------------ This message has been edited by jd2ksilver on 12-31-2002 at 12:23 AM

Marty, I will have to look in the paper to see how they are doing. Luckily we still have Mike Brown and all is well. They hope to double their wins next year. We get the first draft pick AGAIN, the poor guy will be suicidal, they won't be able to sign him until after training camp, he won't know any of the plays but will still start since he has potential. Thank God for high school football and basketball and college hoops and the REDS.

Been going to Shea Stadium and then the Meadowlands for almost 25 years now ,but the trip we made last sunday just about topped them all. The 3 hour tailgate party, watching miracles happening during the Patriot game, and then a blowout of the overrated CHEESESPREADS was almost too much to handle. Actually it was to much as I still don't have my voice back yet. Chuck, maybe this will be the year for the long suffering Sandy Hook JET fans!!! J-E-T-S JETS-JETS-JETS P.S. Pennington can't wait to get another shot at those guys with the patch over one eye.

Tom --I want to be there this Saturday!!!-- But in all honesty, i don't want to pay $500 a ticket to sit next to my wife who would be cold, and in a nasty mood. I'm better off staying home watching it on TV.LOL!!! If they make it any further, i'll consider going if its to a warm climate. I went to Denver in 98 to the AFC Championship Game. It was the Pats year last year. This year its got to be THE JETS!!! J-E-T-S JETS! JETS! JETS!------------------

Whealy,The Vikes don't need draft picks, they're $25 million under the cap for 2003. Look for some good free agents. Tice said yesterday the Viking would be in the playoffs next year.

The extended weather report for San Diego is sunny and warm. Lets not forget the JETS played one of their best games in San Diego this year. Just gotta get there. It's funny how all those touchdowns against the cheesespreads got everybody warm and fuzzy. Maybe it wasn't just the touchdowns. OH WELL.

The word got out that GaryC and Wildcat were not football fans, and we can see how the Indy Colts team played yesterday,,,,getting handed their butts. Any team who can't score any points,,,,doesn't belong in the playoffs. Ed and I know that all too well. We live with the Bengals and Cardinals = real, big time losers PLEASE Cardinals,,,,move to LA.

I know the JETS can do better in the bay area than the Giants did. Did I really see that. Out here we were hoping for a subway bowl. That will have to wait for another year. GO J-E-T-S .

CT, though I now live in Texas since '72, my team was always the Jets but from back when it was Joe Willie, Matt Snell and Emerson Boozer... Used to hang out at a bar in Jersey where they all came too. Dem were da days!!Now its the Texans!! ------------------ Fred J. Henkel "My Kitty's bottle fed!" http://www.lordofthelooks.com

The Raider on the helmet will have 2 patches on his eyes by the time the game is over. Chuck, just make sure you don't need any patches. GO GREEN!!

Just thought I'd bring this to the top again. Funny, all seems quiet now. I got up early to watch a local New York sports show on the tube. Read and saw where the head coach of the Jets supposedly told the reporters to put a camera on him AFTER the Jets scored 40 points on the Raiders. He said he would mouth the words "Get more points". Things have changed.I'm usually pretty quiet on things like this, but there was just to much trash talking from Jets, and the NY media on this one. ------------------
