I am pretty open minded but Chevy missed the boat, big time... I thought the vehicle would apper to be sorta small but the THING is huge and butt ugly,,,,this deal is going to bomb out, too much power, too much trunk space, see where I am heading,,,,,,,,, Watched the crowd for about 10 minutes and really saw a couple of people freaking over Chevys new toy, seems a lot of people were let down.... Gary I saw this truck last year and I too was surprised at the size. For a two seater this vehicle would have to be described as huge. I personally don't think it's ugly but it's not in the rolling art category of the Prowler either. Not even close. |

I've seen the Blue concept in Chicago and the Yellow in Detroit and I LIKE IT. Looks like a chopped late `40's early `50's chevy pickup. It will not have the eye candy appeal of the prowler but it will have a great following |

My opinion on the SSR is that the retro look is nice but the truck does not have styling lines anywhere near the Prowler's. The pluses include a retracting hardtop, V8, & storage space. Also parts & aftermarket accessories should be be readily available due to the larger production numbers. Those larger numbers of vehicles also detract from the feeling of the truck being exclusive. The SSR may to fun to own and drive for some but would a distant second to my Prowler. |
