This noon I was at a local restaurant with my wife and a friend. In walked two guys. One had a Lancaster Harley Davidson shirt on and the other had a purple (actually more like lavender) shirt with the word PROWLER embroidered above the breast pocket. The was also a picture of a panther embroidered below the name. As I finished my lunch, my mind kept wondering (and wandering). Who are these people. The guy with the Prowler shirt struck a resemblance to pictures I've seen of Bat Cliff. Could the other guy be Todd? He didn't look like any pictures I've seen of Todd. What in the world would they be doing in this neck of the woods? Are they on a long cruise? Who are these people?

I finished lunch and washed up. They hadn't received their lunch yet so I went over to their table and said I noticed the Prowler on his shirt. I asked if he had one. He said they both worked on Prowlers. My mind was trying to guess what dealership these guys worked for. He then said they were setting up a shop to work on Prowlers. My mind started to wonder how anyone could specialize on such a low volume car and make enough money to stay in business. I asked where they were setting up the shop. He said on base. Now we have two gold and one orange in town, but only two have access to the base. How could they even set up business there? Then he continued, We're from Pax River (Pautuxent River, Maryland). TILT Reality hit me along the side of the head like a ton of bricks. Their Prowler was an airplane, the A6E. I felt so dumb. I explained my curiosity and apologized for bothering them. I paid my bill and left the restaurant feeling like a complete idiot!

MikeK - on second thought,,,,,,you might NOT have the fastest Prowler, lol.

Alley Cat can now officially say: "Silver Prowlers are the Fastest"!

Pena - remove that "Black Cats are the Fastest" from your banner, hehe.

Think spinner wheels would fit on their Prowler?

Bet their center caps don't have the AC approved MadMax Hot Glue Treatment!

No need for the hot glue and look at this...it can lift it's nose to keep it from scrapping!! It has dual straight through exhaust, too!
