If someone used a picture of your car in a Ebay auction without asking, would you have a problem with that?
or would it be OK?

I think I would have a problem with that. In my mind, that is not a fair representation of the car being sold, no matter what type of car it is. There are always some differences. Use the car that is being sold.

I agree with dave--show a picture of the car being sold, unless they are both all stock ,same year, same age, etc

Cnote6,

Don't feel bad ..... My prowler picture was taken without permission to sell their flame package. I emailed them and asked them to give me a price break on their flames but since it is a slow seller they could not do much. Being the guy that I am I told them next time let me know and go ahead and use it.

Here is the Site

I have since added a border around my pics for signature purposes.

Later...

Images of my car have been used twice that I know of on eBay. The first time I was a little upset and asked the seller to remove the images. The second time, I wasn't as upset and somewhat took it as a compliment. I guess that seller caught me on a good day.

This is the auction. When I first saw it I was alittle upset but thought about it and was only the front wheel. I just wanted an opinion.
