ED - have fun watching your alma mater play for Ohio's championship. My old school won Ky's AAAA championship for 13th time since 1968 last weekend. The quaterback passed for 551 yards, seven touchdowns and ran for one. Two reaceivers each had three TD's, one with over 200 yards the other over 300.

The oppposing quaterback had six TD's and 460 yards passing, ran for one TD and caught a couple of passes as a receiver, plus played on defense. Final score 59-56 and ended on the only turnover - an interception at bthe 1 yard line going for the win.

Hope your game is as exciting!

Marty, the game was last week-end. I was confused about the date of the Krehel Museum tour, at first and that is what I had posted. We could not go this week-end, either.
My Alma Mater won by two points when Warren Harding went for a two point conversion with 48 seconds left and the QB got hit as he threw the ball. They had previously missed a Point After. Our kicker hit the upright on his first point after but it bounced thru. I had tickets on the 40 yard line in the 4th row but did not go when we saw the weather forecast. Two to 5 inches of snow, temp in mid 20's with a wind chill of 5 degrees. It was 4 1/2 hours away and the game was televised. I watched it on TV.
Now the part you will like, I went to Elder who lost to Louisville Trinity in the first or second week of the season. I saw the coverage about the KY final game. They had more yards than any two PRO teams, or the season total for the Bengals, who are semi-pro.
Ohio's final was held in Canton, home of the Pro football hall of fame and they were using snow plows/blowers/sweepers before and during the game. I am glad I watched it on TV but would have liked to have seen it.

Ed - Trinity is where I went to high school. The opposing quarteback in the state final was namedlast night by the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award Committee as the outstanding high school senior quarterback in the nation. He was Mr Football for KY and hoping to be Mr. Basketball as well.

Trinity's quarterback is a junior. His Dad played at Louisville as did two older brothers - one quarterback and one wide receiver. Unfortunately he is so good Louisville probably won't get him. Notre Dame, Illinois, Florida, Florida State, and others are recruiting him.
