I saw Bruce Springsteen perform that song with the E Street band on the replay of Conan O'Brien last night. I never was a huge fan of Bruce......until I saw them play their butts off doing that song. They had about 9 people up there including Conan's horn section, and I was blown away! The place was jumping as they jammed for no less than 10 minutes on that song.....One of the most amazing performances I have ever seen, live or on TV! I now see what the fuss was about the E Street band. I might have to get some of his CD's now! ; The song is not a bad Prowler anthem either. I might have to get that CD and crank it up the next time I put the top down... Anyone see that performance? He sang "Merry Christmas Baby" as well......Just amazing music! |
