I just looked on Ebay, If I looked right, there is a 2001 Orange (the best color) with almost 10,000 miles and the "buy it now price" is $ 31,500. That's a shame when a $ 45,000 car will only fetch $ 31,500 and it's a year old.

Duane... a Jeep Cherokee is 35K new, and is worth 8 K in 4 years... this is NORMAL and most cars are worth LESS. Why buy used when you can buy new? Especially when new can be bought for only 35K with a little looking. You have to remember. a rare car also happens to have a rare buyer. When you need to sell NOW... who wants it?------------------ 2000 Black, 2001 Black Tie, 2001 Orange, 2001 Silver, 2001 Muholland

Funny thing is, I found a couple of NEW oranges for $35K with no miles on them so, $31,5K w/ 10,000 miles does not sound that good....... All car prices are depressed right now. The prowler maybe more so cause it's a specialty/novelty car.

But that car is almost three model years old and is used with 10,000 miles on it. So, when talking about normal cars, that car is no longer a $45,000 car. Most cars lose that much just driving it off the lot. Considering the market and economy right now, I dont think the Prowler is doing too bad right now. Not great like it was 1-2 years ago, but compared to the typical car, it's not too bad. ------------------ Rich W 2001 Silver Cat

I'm not sure that winter is when the strongest prices are going to show up, either...Most people aren't thinking of a top-down cruiser in mid-December (unless you live in SoCal).
