How do you Southern Floridians get in the Holiday Spirit? When I left Fort Lauderdale yesterday afternoon it was 81 degrees? It did NOT feel like Christmas. Taking 11 hours to "fly" home and being welcomed by 34 degree temps and rain didn't do much for my holiday mood either. Marty |

Marty Just the thought of SHOVELING snow for 20 + years in Chicago puts a big smile on my face and LOVE the 82 degree days everyday we can get them!! Look at all the Prowl'in days we get!! The Snow Bird license Plates and Blue Hairs behind the wheels are a real trade off for COLD!! Hanging Chad's County!!! |

I spent the weekend in Miami two weeks ago and had to run the a/c all weekend. Here in central Florida, it doesn't get really cold until around February. I remember wearing shorts to an Orlando Magic game a couple years ago on the day after Christmas. Even now, two weeks before Chistmas, it is top-down weather. I even got to drop the top this morning on the way to work. ------------------ • MTD Prowler Intake System 2.2 |

I've alwys liked the change of seasons here in NC, but this recent ice storm has been tough. Our power at home went out early last Thur. and did not come back on until Sat afternoon late. It went back down yesterday at 3:30 am and is still off. I'm in the oil business and we sell fuel oil and propane, so this weather is good for business, but it ain't weather to drive the Kat in. ------------------ |
