Had 4" of snow in the afernoon, 2" of sleet in the evening (Wed.) and 1" of freezing rain on Thur. morning. Power is out throughout most of central NC. Power out at my house. I'm online at my office now. Heat out and it's 46degrees in the house.Last night I got fire logs going and closed off the room and huddle pets in there so they wouldn't get sick. We have tropical birds. Snow and sleet no problem, but the freezing rain makes a real mess.

That is unbelievable. Glad you have power finally. (At your house, not in the car). lol
