On Saturday, Nov. 16th Nick Latino (Yel Prowler) and I joined the Big Easy Mopar Assn. For a cruise to Houma, LA to visit Southland Dodge and the Teuton's Hemi Racing Garage... Skys were overcast and it was 55 degrees (cold - wind chill felt like 40). We ended up with somewhere around 40 vehicles. Enjoyed looking around the shop, the hamburgers and inspecting the cars... They thought it would be nice to set up a Hemi & Hemi like the commercial on TV... About two weeks ago, I got to test drive one of the new Hemi trucks(cousin of mine took delivery of one). Took it from Convington to Gramercy about 75 miles and used ½ tank of gas... But, it does have power and it'll be a 15 second truck... Thanks to Joe, Jeff and Frank Teuton for the hospitality and the Big Easy Mopar Club for including the new Mopars... That's Nick on the right in front of his Yellow Kat ... ------------------

I haven't but I'll make some inquiries next time I meet up with the Houma guys... I'm learning there was quite a group of Drag racers that started back in 60s and I enjoy listening to them talk about the old days...
