At least once you wake up and get back on the road you can make INDY in less than a day's drive!! Roads look good but possible rain moving in later in day.

Wildcat - time to get the road spikes out!

Marty - he said to Scot that he bought lunch for Rebecca and you today???

It's amazing how a story changes as it is told from person to person! Gary arrived in Louisville between 4:15 and 4:30 pm. That may be lunchtime on the West Coast but in Eastern time it quitting time!! Gary and I had dinner and then drove to another local restaurant/pub where we met Gary Archer and later Rebecca joined us. Those of us not driving to Indianapolis had several beers and solved all the problems of Prowler Ownership and prowleronline.com.

As far as who paid, you stop by my city, I am the host; just like Marc treated me in Denver 10 days ago.

GaryC should be one hour from Indy by now!

Marty

Just hung up with the Big Guy and.....

Mr. Cat is correct. Gary is 70 miles out of Indy and all is well. At the time that I talked to him, he was sitting next to his blow-up date that he bought through a mail order sex shop in TJ and they were telling each other how good it is gonna be when they get home to Indy. He passed her a big swig of milk from the race track bottle that the Great State of Indiana sent to him and then they both compared milk mustaches. God they both love Indy!

What a man! He is my hero. A great State, a full belly, after a sumptuous squash with Marty and Rebecca, a beautiful blow-up woman next to him, an amply supply of air pressure to keep her supple, no one to complain about his gas problem and a stretch of open road. What else is left in life?

I gotta go as Harm is on TV and he is planning on flying the old F-14 tonight, steering an aircraft carrier into battle, saving an innocent man accused of raping the Major and jumping on three different women while on his way to Russia! God I love him. He and 007 both patterned their lives after mine.

Mr. Stern - I had forgotten what an eloquent way you have with words. Reading your rendition, it actually seems we may have had a good time this evening! I sense that Gar will be missing his friends in California and will need support getting use to midwest life once again. Reading your posts will certainly be a comfort to him.

Tami - all I remember is some hairy legged singer with a mustache in a dress and another "lady" that you ran after to get her phone number for Bob Goetz. (Marsha Mellow, I believe was her name) Is that what you call problem solving?

Gary bought that doll because they said it had big Zits and he misread it. They actually make a lovely couple. I won't say which one is lovelier than the other. lol. Welcome home, Gary.

Dolly wanted me to open a window, so I did , then it happened, she blew me off, errr,, she blew out the window, so I turned around to retrieve her and there was a ton of cars stop in the area I lost lost her, went to the next ramp , did a U-turn then stopped to get her. Walked up and there was an Indiana trooper giving her mouth to mouth,,,I told the Officer I wouldn't put my lips there but he was determined to revive her, so she then came to and the cop took her in for questioning, yea right,,,I miss her and love her and really need her RIGHT NOW,,,, Pricillas opens at 10:00am, I will be the first one there.....

BTW, I made it,,,, took 11 hours from Marty land, there was 11 feet of snow on the ground, welcome back.... Mom also is her and is resting well,,,thanks Alley for the snow report,,,

Glad you made it safely. Sounds like the gang keeps you on your toes. Sorry about the cold weather there. But if you're curious what you left here in CA, today it is 87 and predicting 89 for tomorrow. Tell May hello and give her my Love.

Dear Mr. "C,"

I am glad that this epic cross country journey is now safely completed and you are ensconced in your new city with a fresh jug of milk. There is nothing like living in the Midwest to stimulate your wholesome roots.

On the topic of tragic situations I have just been contacted by the District Attorney's office here in California and, apparently, Mary-Ellen Watermelon, your traveling partner, has been reported to be under age! Yes, it is true and it is best to get it out in the open.

According to the District Attorney, she was less then eighteen weeks old when you transported her across State Lines. Given the situation, your past record and the heartless way in which you disposed of her used body upon your arrival in Indiana, they are going to seek your extradition.

Apparently, this little chick complained to several of her shelf mates, prior to leaving the "F" Street Store in Escondido, and they tipped the police. You may be in deeeeep trouble with the California legal system.

At this point, I would recommend that you retrieve her, have her professionally cleaned and then return her to the shelf at "F" Street. Perhaps the local authorities will settle for a misdemeanor charge instead of the felony charges that they have listed in their arrest warrants.

Please do not return to California until we can sort out this unfortunate misunderstanding as you do not look good in horizontal striped suits. I also understand that the institutional food that is served is not up to your gourmet standards.

Gotta run as it is Tuesday and on this particular Tuesday, I have an appointment with my psychologist to discus my feeling of withdrawal since you have left. It seems that I now have no further subject to defame and it is causing serious depression.

Later,

The Old Man
