Hi Randy.

We're fine here in Mandeville. I haven't heard from anyone else. We only had 8" to 9" of rain at my house here in Mandeville. Now, some areas in & around New Orleans have had over 25" of rain (City Park, French Quarters, etc..) and the airport in Kenner 11" (official weather station location)... And, some areas still dealing with rising waters...

Yesterday I lived on the beautiful Tchefuncte River....Today I live in it! The river has rissen 5 feet around my entire house. I was riding (slowly) my rave runner in front of the house (thats the street) today checking to see if I could help any of my neighbors out. We are totally surronded by water. Only way out is boat. At least the house is OK and all the cars are at a friends shop up the highway. It's now almost 8pm and the waters have just started to go down a little. At least they are going down. Maybe by tomorrow we will be able to get out.

Glad to hear all of you are okay. It could have been a lot worse but I guess you have a huge clean up staring you in the face, AL. Good luck and I hope the water level leaves as quickly as it rose.

The national news up here in Arkansas showed a Red Cat under water down there. Was it one of us?
