I remember I read through one of the posting said, Alley Cat is packing to move to Houston Texas is it a true story? I do not belive he will give up nice, dry and hot climate move to rainy country, all of the cats I see did not know how to swim, he might be drown or water might suck him down to a storm drain.

sam771, it is a well known fact that Alley Cat rarely tells the truth. Actually I am about the only one that ALWAYS tells the truth. lol. fixxum will be confirming that, shortly.
Alley Cat wants to get the janitor job at Mike's Major Museum and Judy K feels sorry for A/C since he is such a pathetic creature (Prowler Keith will confirm that fact) but Mike is too smart to give Alley Cat the address. If he moves to Houston he will be living under a bridge. He has been out of work since CATS closed on Broadway a few years ago. Save your Kibbles and Bits labels for him. lol. That is how I met him, I was in the original cast of HAIR.

Sam - Of course its a true story about Alley Cat moving to Houston. I lived 30 years in Nebraska and love the rain, humidity, and tornado conditions that Houston has to offer. I don't care for snow, ice, and the winter storage conditions that the noreasterners talk about, so Texas is going to be an excellent move for me. Judy has signed me to a 5 year contract as curator of the Krehel Prowler Museum (knowing I'm the right person for the job) and have an option for an additional 3 years. By that time I'll be nearly as old as Ed, and ready to retire. I'll be training Mike Gatlin to replace me in 2010,,,,,,so he will have a good 8 to 10 years on the job before reaching retirement age.

Ed and Prowler Keith are taking shots at me because they interviewed for the curator's job and were found to be incompetent to handle the prestigious position and the demand of intelligence and experience it will take to excel in this position. They were classified as "ALSO RAN"* and are now showing their jealously.

[* Footnote: that these two have been designated "ALSO RAN" all of their adult lives]

Sam, as a sign of good faith and trust in the Alley Cat, I'll grant you four free passes to the museum during regular business hours (closed on all saturdays, sundays, holidays, and Prowler events). ENJOY your trip to the museum! Grand Opening in 2003

Alley Cat,

Thank you for the offered, I will take you up on that. I will be move to Austin for the winter and go back to Idaho in the summer. You are about 3 hours from Austin, I will be travel back and forth between Leesville, LA to see my daughter at Fort Polk, on the way there I will stop to say hello to you in Houston and on the way back too until you get tire of my face. I will leave my yellow KAT in Idaho and looking to buy another one in Austin if Tyco (TYC) stock keep go up and down the way it is I will have money soon.

Congratulation and good luck on your new job.

Mike - you better step in here soon. I think AC is getting delusional and he may yet end up on our porch thinking he can sleep with your kats!

AC - you shouldn't mislead the innocent!!!! Ed is fine, but not the innocent

Clifford - I'll take the above under advisement. Hey, maybe Sam owns a moving company and will pack and move me to Houston for 'free'?

AC you forgot to include one very important fact about me not getting the Job. I used you as a reference for getting a Green Card, I was turned down because of that association and reference. I would have won the job hands down

yess ed, I think he did tell me the truth once. see I have meant ed one time and when he was talking to me his lips were moving but he wasn't saying anything, but out of the two hours his lips were moving I did hear if you ever get the chance to meet alleycat get your rabie shots and wear a flee and tick collar. and since i have never meant A/C but have seen a picture or two, funny thing about that as i going thru the post with his picture on it a customer was looking over my shoulder and started to screem and said what is that hairy thing i just told her it is a goverment experment. A buffalo crossed with a gerble boy was she upset that our tax dollars went to make something that hairy. so yess ed you do tell the truth as long as people under stand ya.

Sam, you ought to plan on coming to Cruising the Coast if you are going to be down south.
I am only about 1100 miles from Austin so let me know what day you are coming over.
Don't lend Alley Cat any money. He will tell you that I will pay you back. I won't. I stiffed A/C out of 29 cents about 13 years ago and he is still upset. lol.

ED--

If I'm not mistaken, the city of Houston has zoning laws and building codes. A/C's chances of moving there and setting up residence would appear rather "limited".

Harry, thanks for posting. I was afraid that I would be ignored as one of those lunatic Midwesterners always warning about alien invasions but when it also comes from THE GREAT NORTHWEST, people will listen.
A/C, Sewer gas was your best shot? You are slipping, man!
lol. Rumor has it that Gary C may be getting the Krehel Museum job since he is a lot more reliable and much neater in appearance. Way to go Gary. Prowler Keith will be sending a letter of recommendation.
