Apparently it has become very easy to steal a DC product. A business associate had his rental Stratus stolen shortly after picking it up at the airport. In a related story, a police officer lost his life last week chasing a stolen car DC product.

Rickster, I was talking to a couple of Cin'ti detectives about 6 weeks ago. They get over 100 cases a month, just in one district (precinct) and almost 90 % are Mopar. I was flabberghasted that the only thing they investigate are stolen cars and stolen plates.
They cannot pull over suspects at random, as that would be racial profiling, but it is male black teenagers who are stealing 2 to 4 cars a night for a joyride. Scary, huh?
