Any one watch the LLWS National semi final last night on ESPN. Best game of baseball - any level - I have watched in quite a while. It's too bad either team had to lose.

I missed it! I was trying to listen to it over the Internet but either their server doesn't stream smoothly or its my dial-up. By the time I got home from work the game was over! The team from Japan is dominating! They haven't allowed a run yet. I think the game tonight between Harlem and Mass should be good too. I have been trying to verify this but I think Harlem has the first set of twins to make it to the finals. I think Harlem will win tonight and the final LLWS game will be Harlem vs. Japan. (Sorry, I don't think Louisville can beat the Harlem bats). I was rooting for Aptos, CA but they were eliminated pretty quickly I love watching this level of baseball. I don't know if it is because my boys play LL or if it is just the enthusiasm of the players. ------------------ Cliff Watson

What a GREAT game it was. How about 49 STRIKEOUTS through 9 innnings? Do we need to test for steroid use?

The Louisville pitcher last night is 12 years old 5'7" 175 pounds and was still throwing 74 MPH fastballs at the end of nine innings!BTW Cliff Louisville already beat Harlem once this week, but beating a team that plays that well twice will take skill and a lot of luck! Marty, Louisville already used their good pitcher this week and went the max time allowed. This will be a great matchup for sure Hey - I am all for America to win the LL Championship - but have you seen the Japan team. It will take some great teamwork and a lot of work! You heard it here first - Japan goes back to back and will shoot for a three peat next year.

Cliff - one of the things that makes this Louisville team so good is they have TWO pitchers that throw over 70 MPH. The other one only pitched the tenth inning so he is eligible to pitch Saturday. He also was the winning pitcher earlier when they beat Harlem the first time. The team from Japan looks to be really good. I guess I would have to look and see what kind of pitching they have been up against. Their batters all crowd the plate Aaron Alvey has unbelieveable control and can pitch to the inside all night. Maybe the Japanese haven't had a 76 MPH fastball wizz just inches from their bodies!!Louiville has to win one more to get there. Marty

I am so ticked! ABC decided to tape delay the U.S. championship game to the west coast. They are not showing it until 7:30 pm. I hope it was a good game, now I won't be able to see it! ARGGGG

Marty, did you get a chance to see Japan play? You still think Louisville is good enough to beat them? I still say Japan will go back to back for a twopeat

I have not watched any of the games but I am rooting for Louisville, of course. Last night they interviewed Harold Baines and Tony Gwynn and both of them thought that Louisville could win. Both of those guys are ex-major leaguers for you who are not baseball fans. Gwynn was a fairly good hitter.

Now if the University of Louisville Football team can just have an undefeated season as well..... I'm sure Colorado State and Florida State will be easy victories. LOLBack on subject .. these Little League kids are going to be on Good Morning America this morning and the local governments are planning a downtown parade/celebratrion. Pretty cool thing for Middle School kids that have already got to miss over a week and 1/2 of classes, too.
