A couple of quick shots to show the progress of the ALL NEW SSS 3" Fully Polished Tail Pipes...
As you will note, these things are HUGE but are designed for the do-it-yourself Cat Owner without any welding or cutting... a true "bolt on" replacement. To reduce development cost, these prototypes as seen here (next to the OEM pipes) are made from mild steel, but the finished product will be 100% 304 Stainless Steel, FULLY POLISHED, from tip to tip. Additionally note these a bent "wrinkle free" to enhance the viewing pleasure. What we have created is an even more powerful look for the Prowler and because these will act as an echo chamber, the sound will be even more mellow when coupled with the SSS Prowler muffler. More later as we progress, but expect to see these Cruisin' the Coast in October. Any questions, just give me a call @ 800 669 3540 anytime. THANKS, Jay

THANKS for the offers, but the final fit will have to be done here in South Florida due to the complexity of the bends, angles of the brackets and checking clearances due to the increase in size... no room for errors as any mistake would cost BIG $$$. Regarding the price, don't know yet, but expect it will be a "premium" due to the materials and labor to polish over 11' of Stainless Steel pipe. Additionally, the rear (visible) hanger is being made from billet aluminum for that "show car" look, no ugly welds like the OEM. This rear hanger should be ready tomorrow and I will post a picture of this ASAP. As always, THANKS for y'all continued interest and support of the SSS Prowler Exhaust System. Jay

The SSS Tail Pipes, for that Show Car LOOk, will feature Billet Aluminum hangers as shown...
This eliminates those unsightly welds as seen in the picture. These hangers also have rubber bushings to completely isolate the tail pipes from the frame. Included in the kit will be NEW replacement OEM style tubular brackets. These brackets will bolt to the frame using the existing holes and then be inserted into the NEW hanger's rubber bushings. This will give the BIG pipes the necessary support to be trouble free.Installation is expected to be less than an hour without any cutting or welding... a true "bolt-on" performance accessory. THANKS, Jay

PROWLEN John...Regarding the SSS Logo, it is ready to produce, but I have not found a suitable adhesive for attaching these to the exhaust tips, thus I have not made any. Belive me, I am still experimenting with this. However, if you want to attach the SSS Logo SHIMMERS somewhere else on your Cat, let me know and I will be pleased to make you a set and send them to you. Because of the lessons learned with the above, we are exploring the possibility of "stamping" the SSS Logo directly into these new 3" tail pipes... no decision on this yet. Please let me know if you want the SSS Logo SHIMMERS and where you might place these. Current color scheme is Chrome and Cotton Candy, maybe due to the location, your color preference will be different. Whatever, just let me know. THANKS, Jay
