After a nice cruise to another In-N-Out Burger location in north central Phoenix, 11 Prowler owners, 4 PT Cruisers, and two Hondas get the "boot" out of the parking lot for unauthorized assembly. A guess a bunch of middle aged cruisers looked like a threat to the security guard staff on duty there, and asked us to leave the premises as soon as we were done eating! The Phx PD was even informed of our presence. Tom and Dawn Lavka were last seen driving fast out of Phx with a warrant out for their arrest We may even see them on our milk cartons this week!!!

Tom and Dawn - thanks for making the trip from California. Sorry about the arrest warrant! Maybe Ranger Bob can make bail for you it caught before reaching the state line Sheriff Joe's jail isn't as bad as the tv stories make it out to be. Tent City Jail is alittle harsh to newbies, and it is true that his guard dogs eat better than the inmates

AC,

What did your Wild Bunch do in AZ that have scared the security guard and the local PD? Are you guys disturbing the peace with your exhausts or are you all suffered from the intense heat wave in Phoenix ? We Californians will get the report from Dawn as soon as possible. Dawn, AZ warrant will always be voided when you crossed the state line to CA .

Howler - we were just fine,,,,,,,until,,,,,,,the lady Prowler owners decided to have a wet t-shirt contest (think it was Dawn's idea?) due to the extreme 112 degree temps of the day The security guards were more like 19 yr old kids,,,,,the ones that play gameboy all day and work for $6 at night to buy new games,,,,and the idea to them was alittle too much for their immature minds to handle. Our chairs were in place,,,the water poured,,,the gals ready to make their way down the asphalt runway in front of the crowd,,,,then the stoppage and the BOOT.

The burgers were good

Maybe another day,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,in my dreams

so that is where the phrase.."2 all beef patties" came from! If only you had asked the McCops to be judges it might have been a "BIG & TASTEY" to the winner.

Debbie - I wasn't suppose to mention that? Keep it a secret?

Damn security guards

Gatlin - Maybe you can arrange a wet t-shirt contest at the Woodward event,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,you are such a great promoter. I'm thinking the winning prize will have to be much bigger,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,maybe the first video copy you make of the event "free"

Well, I can say that we safely arrived back in CA..Thank goodness for a bit of humidity....Thought I would never say that.

Outran the law all the way to the state line. Got a little worried when the Border Patrol decided that they wanted to check the Prowler for illegal aliens.

Thanks to the AZ group for all your hospitality. I guess the t-shirt idea helped. Huh?

It was good to see AC and Catwoman again and to meet more of the AZ owners.

The funniest part was showing up to the car show and AC reported that he had already got word that we were in town because, someone had reported seeing a different Prowler hanging around the Phoenix area.....

Thanks for everything....a weekend we won't soon forget.

Tom and Dawn - It was great to have you with us, and the crowd at the car show did enjoy seeing your flamed cat. Nice piece of work you have there,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,spend the bonus check on a Carlini grill. JMO

Dawn - I'm afraid the Phx police are still looking for you. You need to have a $5 permit fee paid in advance to stage a wet tee shirt contest I knew those SoCal cats are always rowdy
