I have just mailed out all the packets to the people that I have received checks from and that have a reserved spot with Make-A-Difference. The packets include pictures from past years, maps from the Marriott to Pike Street Restaurant, maps of Pontiac, schedule of events and parking pass. Your nametags and wristbands will be given out at Pike Street Restaurant. There is a reception desk at the Marriott. Someone will be there each morning, from 8:00 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. to help you with any problems that you might have.

Friday – August 16th

4:00 P.M. There will be a group leaving the Marriott for a cruise to Pike Street
Restaurant, where you can check in and get your nametags and wrist bands.

6:00 P.M. Pontiac is having a Parade which you can be a part of if you wish.

Those of you that are going to the Black Tee at the DaimlerChrysler
Museum may leave at any time or go as one group in a caravan.

8:30 –
9:30 P.M. A dinner buffet will be served. (cash bar)

10:00 P.M. We are having a drawing for FREE prizes.

10:30 P.M. You may join in and sing your favorite oldies. There will be prizes for the best singer, and the one that, well should NOT be singing.

11:30 P.M. The restaurant will be closing.

THE RESTAURANT IS OPEN FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT FROM 4:00 P.M. untill 11:00 P.M.

THERE WILL BE CRUISING DURING, BETWEEN AND AFTER THESE SCHUDLED EVENTS. IT’S UP TO YOU TO ENJOY WHAT APPEALS TO YOU!

Saturday – August 17th

A.M. You may leave the hotel and cruise up and down Woodward as a
group or by your self. We can talk about it Friday night, so that
you can decide what you want to do.

I will be leaving the Marriott at 7:00 A.M. to go down to
Pontiac. Your welcome to come with me, but that is really early.

8:00 A.M. Parking is available again on Saginaw Street.

11:30 A.M. Pike Street Restaurant is open for us to enjoy for the rest of the day,
until 11:30 P.M.

12:00 Noon
2:00 P.M. The lunch buffet will be served. (cash bar)

1:00 P.M. There will be a FREE drawing for prizes.

3:00 P.M. 50’s dance contest. (I need a couple more judges)

6:00 P.M. Pontiac Parade (optional)

8:00 P.M. Drawing for Mini-Car (Go-Kart) 57 Chevy, 6 horse power engine,
electric start, headlights and taillights work.

8:00 P.M. –
9:30 P.M. The dinner buffet will be served. (cash bar)

8:30 P.M. Drawing for FREE prizes.

10:00 P.M. Hula-Hoop contest with prizes.

11:30 P.M. Restaurant closes and we all cruise back to the Marriott.

OFCROUSE – THERE WILL BE CRUISING ALL DAY AND MOST OF THE NIGHT!!!!! So start practicing blocking, we don’t want the other cars cutting us off.

Please post to this thread if you have sent in your checks to Make-A-Difference, so I can make sure that you are on the list. I don’t want you to miss out. We have only a few spots left.

Polish those Kats and get ready to cruise.
