We had a busy day, tinting the windows (different thread) on the Prowler and had the PT Cruiser lowered 1.8 inches. Check out the before and after pics: BEFORE It is amazing how much different the PT drives (more responsive) and rides (no leaning around turns). IMHO it was worth it. Probably should have done it sooner, but it was difficult trying to convince the wife that it was a good idea. Glad I recently had a birthday, it was one of my presents. : . . ------------------ "I am nobody and nobody is perfect, therefore I am Perfect!" Hey Pat and Norm...... If you really want the PT to look even better, paint the front and rear bumpers in the gray area to body color along with the mirrors. You won't believe how much better the car will look! the lines on the car flow much nicer and you don't have that part of the car standing out so much. It's a real simple task to smooth out the texture on the bumpers. Send me an email if you are interested and I'll explain. Looks good lowered. Who's spring kit? Check out this web site for all of your PT needs. I highly recommend them. great people and great service, www.pt-tuning.com! |

quote: We had considered painting the bumpers when we first got the car, but now we like the contrast. We also were concerned about the paint chipping especially in the front. Not sold on changing the color of the bumpers at this point, but hey, you never know. Thanks. The lowering springs are from inTrax. |

That looks OUTSTANDING!! It has totally changed the personality of the cruiser! I wonder who will be first to give a cruiser a top chop? |
