Cliff, there is an article in this month's Reader's Digest about the festival. Pretty interesting and they used a lot of photos so you know who could enjoy it, too.

Well, we are back and I have to say - you peeples in Ohio really live it up Man is it green there!!!! We got home today and looked at each other saying - Yuck - the air is brown and the hills are too - there are no trees anywhere!!!! I didn't see one single kat while we drove around. We put almost 700 miles on our car so you know we drove a lot!!! We even took a side trip to Erie, PA so we could say we had been in PA I have to admire you folks that live in Ohio and don't get any tickets!! I haven't seen so many police in my life!!!!! Every time I turned a corner there was another officer - and none of the cars seemed to look the same! Our rental had an IL plate on it, so I really feel lucky to have escaped without a ticket!! Things I loved - the Express Lane and Local Lane theory!!! That is fantastic! Loved many other things too Things I didn't love! - How in the heck can you keep track of what lane you need to be in while driving on a surface street? Just toolin' down the road and all of sudden you are forced to turn because it becomes a turn only lane! That one kept me on my toes The boys had a GREAT time and that was the whole purpose of the trip! Just thought I would check in This message has been edited by CWatsonJr on 08-06-2002 at 04:21 PM

BatCliff, they must be getting a lot more rain up there if things are green. It is dry as a bone down here. It looks like October with all the leaves falling off the trees. Glad to hear you all had a good time. I guess it is great getting back to work and getting some rest. lol.

Ed - I guess they must have gotten more rain than your area. There was some grass that was turning yellow in places but for the most part it was GREEN. We got home and looked at our brown mountains and just sighed.Going on vacation is exhausting. At least I can keep my regular hours now

LOL - at least we have something to be green if there was any water! The only thing green right now is my grass. You guys have to have rocks for landscaping though - right?

It's not really landscaping unless you paint the rocks white.
