Last night I watched Field of Dreams for the first time since we had been there. It brought back some great memories of the great catavan to Deadwood. If you have never seen that movie, I highly recommend it, even if you are not a baseball fan. It is not really about baseball, it is about interpersonal relationships and what could have been IF. I think it is truly a great movie. Sandy gave me a newer tape of it and it has about 10 minutes of background and inside information at the end of it. For anyone who went with us to visit Dyer, Iowa, thanks for the memories, especially Mike Gatlin for bringing a ball and gloves.

Ed: That's close to our old stomping grounds growing up. Used to drive through Dyer all of the time to get to the cabin on the cliffs surrounding the Mississippi. Neat area. Loved the movie too - thanks for bringing back some really nice memories! Tami

Ed, I hauled out the Crazyhorse Tour/Deadwood video tape the other night and the "Field of Dreams" stop/segment still is one of my favorites. Brought back the great memories of you Laddie and I playing ball on "the field!" As I recall, that was one of your contributions as a stop for the Catavan...a great idea!

As great as that entire trip was, the Field of Dreams is one of my fondest memories of that trip. I would acutally like to go back there someday with my kids and grandkids. I am really glad everyone agreed to stop there. Mike, don't forget I also suggested a lot of the pit stops. lol.
