posted 07-14-2002 09:49 AM          I was at my favorite Starbucks have a coffee yesterday and was introduced to a fellow who is very involved in Search and Rescue out here. He has taken about 6 mnths to set up this Ride to New York starting from here where I live, there is another group leaving from down in the states at the same time they will be in NJ for Sept 11th. He has run this through Ruddy Juliani while he was mayor and he will be present for a dinner and a presentation from the groups. Guy Morrall is the fellow I met he is also an artist and has drawn a poster which really portriats the way we Canadians feel towards our US friends and neihbours. This will be presented to R.J at the presentation, all the moneys from donations and the sale of the shirts he has had made up ($20.00), plus copies of this print. Will go to Men and Women who lost their lives trying to save other on that terrible day.
