Jack and I went to the 88 Drive-In for our 4th of July and watched "Scooby Doo" on the screen and watched the fireworks at Adams County fairgrounds in the rearview mirror. Going to the Drive-In was total blast into the past . I had not been to a drive-in in 30 years. This drive-in was a 1957 vintage and was a total Trip into nostalgia lane (I think there was just one set of plans for every Drive-In and Snack bar every built). It was getting pretty toasty here! I spent my 4th at superdanthegarbageman's with family and friends loading up on delicious Greek food, and then to Jones beach for the fireworks. That's the last time I do that as it took 1 1/2 hours to get out. What saved me was the Crystal Light~Vodka mix that made the time fly by in the lot waiting for it to clear.
