Ed - looks like my KAT's engine may not be back together by then, so may not make it afterall. I bought another plenum (engine cover), sanded it down, had it painted the same color as my flames, and am putting Red Smimmers on it. The original one is off the car now but I need to switch the throttle body to the new one and reconnect everything including the nitrous, etc.

I may drive up anyway, we will see - but no need to hold a space for me.

Leaving Columbus around 2:00 this afternoon. We have to make a "quick" stop at the Jeffersonville outlet malls. It's a two hour trip - hope to be there right around 5:30 !

Tried to super glue my cap for the cruise in, but no luck.

I'll be heading up shortly in the three legged Candy Red. Bringin' plenty of custom center cap removal tools!

Mike, the super glue will only hold the tab in place till you can reinforce it with a bead of something stronger.
The best super glue can be gotten at a hobby shop. Go for the medium viscosity and get the "kicker" to set it fast.
The glue by itself is too brittle to hold on its own.
This method worked for me.

We had 16 cats show up. Pretty good turnout for a weekly car show. Remember when we thought 5 cats together was a big deal?
Two that I thought might be there did not show but a guy showed up in a 53 Buick and said he had a Red Prowler and he called his wife and said, "Come on down" He also called his friend who brought his Red Cat. Both are stone stock and have about 300 or 400 miles. One cat, however, will only be stock for a few more days. He is ordering a weekender and an Air Patrol tomorrow.
Lou Stavale showed up and said he does not know Bob or CJ. haha. A really nice guy and he loved seeing all the mods on all the OTHER cars since mine is still stock, also.
Perfect weather and a great crowd in spite of huge car shows in Columbus (Good Guys), Indianapolis (Chevy) and Carlisle (MoPar).
Thanks for coming down from Columbus, Steve and coming up from Louisville, Marty and Lexington, Mike & Rachel. Dan and Kathy came from Carlisle and John and Shelly Buehrle from Kettering. Most everyone else was local. Good time afterward with some jokes at the restaurant.
New guys are Don & Darlene Marcum and Dennis and Pam Vanover. They are going to be very active and said to sign them up for the Smoky Mtn. trip.
We had one Mulholland, one Candy Red, one Silver, One Woodward, two Yellow, 3 Red, 3 Orange and 4 Black.
No Black Ties, golds or Purples and no Electric BLUE, AGAIN. A guy in a Vette parked right in the middle of all the cats while I had my back turned. It was for sale and I guess he thought he would put it where the crowd was looking at the cars and not across the row with the rest of the Vettes!! True story, honest injun.

Ed - the guy in the '78 Vette told me he paid you to park there. I hope you bought at the restaurant afterwards.

Great to meet every one. And great to see the tricks, tips, mods on everyone's cars. That orange with the Chyrsler chromed grill was awesome. I priced a chrome grill not long ago and now MUST find the cash!

I took some digi pics but my old pc fried and I can't find the disc with the camera software for the new one! Any one out there that can burn a copy of a Sony Cyber Shot cd?

Mike, the owner of the orange with the grill is Lou Stavale, who works at D-C. It was a special project for a special car and they made three of them and that is how he got it. I won't divulge who has the others. If they want it known they can post it.
He only has about 500 miles on his cat but I think he reallly enjoyed himself last night and we may be seeing a little more of him in the future. I hope so, anyway.
Marty, I put it on the POA Sasquatch Mastercard, Priceless.

Lou's grill is absolutely perfect. I asked Lou about it's source so that we could send our grills there for chroming. This is the quality that DC would have used had they included it as an OEM grill for the Prowler.

Cincinnati folks, there is a cruise in every Sunday evening on 747 about a mile north of Union Centre Blvd., or about 5 miles north of I-275. It is on the right in a strip shopping center with a Kroger store in it. They have about 75 cars. They all looked great (that I saw. I got there pretty late.) They give a diff. dash plaque every week. Also, this Sat. evening is the big cruise-in at Mainliner Frisch's in Fairfax. This is a huge one but I cannot make it. I have to babysit.
