I have requested from Mike to cancel my membership here on POA. Hope to meet some of you in person. Thank you to some for helping in my charity events.

The reason I am leaving is I love my sons very much and do not want any problem for them. They are hot headed and I think this is best.

I will still attend Woodward this year and some other events.

Thank you

Sassy

C5 - I think I missed it too... I really don't understand...
Sasy - What is upsetting your sons so much that they are getting so upset??? If it is my comments on Vette lovers (I don't know if they are Vette lovers), I'm sorry... I hope everything works out... Is there any way I can find out the painting process for the engine??? I really want to make that happen...

Well I have something to say here. I know we all have the luxury of freedom of speach here but I personally think there are a few that use that as an excuse to slander and be little others. I won't mention names here you know who you are. I joined this group just over 1 yr ago and have
seen another person attack another lady here it got so bad her husband posted a response to his abuse and then he left the group what a shame that was, shortly after the other guy posted for a vote on having him leave he's gone now.

I have never met Sassy but have had a few PM's with her on other items and so on she has always sent me a return and has been very helpfull at least to my satisfaction anyways. Sure maybe things don't happen as fast as others can make them happen but lets give the lady credit for trying to bring things to the group, expensive or not we all know there are people here that can buy whatever parts they want at whatever the cost comes to. I don't see the ones who criticise her doing any R&D to try and bring something different here for anyone who wants to buy their
products

One last thing here to all the other guys out here that read all those posts which brought this on "Her sons as she said being Hot Headed" what son isn't when someone attackes his mom like she has been!! whether she has it coming or not in that person or persons minds.

Don't know what is going on but...

Is there no way to work this out?
Don't know Sassy but I have exchanged e-mails with her on different subjects and would think her leaving would be a lose to the POA.

Hope you find a way to stick around.

What a shame! God would I love to get into it with the few of you who constently harp, nag, whine, and bitch, about other peoples efforts to get us some cool modifications for our cars. What have you brought to the site other than your big mouths? It just makes me sad to see what is supposed to be grown men get pleasure out of ridiculing a woman. What a joke, grow up or shut up.

Sassy: Thanks so much for all that you have contributed. I realize that I am relatively a newbie here, but I know what you are talking about and I'm sorry that you had to endure the 7th grade level badgering over your products. I know that when someone has something that is very exciting to them it's hard to contain their enthusiasm over that item. Apparently others could not recognize that fact even though they might have been frustrated over the time it took to bring those items to fruition. You have worked very hard to bring new and exciting items to us and for that I want to say thank you. I on a recent post was teasing Fixumm and even though it was in a fun spirited way I want to say I'm sorry to him if I hurt his feelings in any way. I realize that I do not know any of you involved in this presonally and perhaps I've missed alot in the past that lead up to all of this, but I feel strongly enough on this to say something. So, to the gentlemen who find it necessary to post something ugly each and every time Sassy has posted a new item on this site I would like to say to those gentlemen, your mothers would be proud. Are you that unhappy that you find it necessary to constantly criticize Sassy for her new ideas? At least she brings something positive and new to the site, what have you accomplished lately? Tami

Sassy, I have never met you, but look forward to making it happen some day.

It's a shame you try to do such nice things for your fellow members, and some of them react so negatively.

Hey, I've got an idea...maybe you should show your sons some of THESE posts! It might help them. I hope our support will change your mind, but understand if it doesn't.

If we can't change your mind, I hope to meet you at one of the upcoming events this year.

Ms. Mama,

I have read, listened, considered and now it is time to speak. Assets are hard to come by and you are in many ways an asset to the POA. Not everyone will always agree on anyone's particular post but that is part of the charter of freedom of speech. Since everyone else has also lectured you I shall choose to stop here and share with you my philosophy for a solution.

In my case, I feel that humor is the basis for life and I try to include it in every one of my posts. Some like it, some do not and, therefore, I appreciate each and everyone's position. I still try to focus my responses on humor by mostly by making fun of myself.

As an example, I always enjoy anything that Alley Cat posts because he is witty, funny and well versed in POA activities. One the other hand, CJ is serious and does everything in her power to further the enjoyment of Prowler ownership for each and every one of us. Gary always offers insight into the ownership experience that is vastly different than normal. Each member is different yet vitally important to the overall enjoyment of readership.

Some of the ideas that you have generated have been innovative and very creative. In the past, pioneers got shot while trying to cross dangerous territory yet if they had not persisted this country would have remained a small group of States.

Since many of us have never met, words are the basis upon which we draw conclusions about each other and sometimes, not often, words have more than one meaning. One cannot allow incorrect perceptions to remain the sole basis for decisions.

Deep down I feel that you really don't want to leave the Board or else you would have simply disappeared and not aired your intentions. I also believe that you can control your sons and they will surely understand that for all of the bad that they may feel is exhibited, there is certainly good represented by many of the posts on the Board concerning this subject. I truly think that in many ways, this Board has been therapeutic for you and offers a venue for expression that stimulates your creative abilities. I urge you to continue for the sake of all concerned.

I suggest that you take "a vacation" for a short period of time from the board and see if you still feel the same in a couple of weeks. I suspect that you will mellow, return and be welcomed back. While I am not ready to purchase all of your offerings I do feel that each and every one has had some merit and does enhance the overall ownership experience.

In closing, you have had much tougher fights than this one and you have prevailed. You need to call an end to this thread by making a mature announcement that you have weighed all of the aspects of the situation and decided to remain a member and you will decide in the future as to the level of your participation.

I gotta run as it is late and Dew Drop just made me some hot Bosco to calm my nerves and it is time to embark upon an extended snore session. You may consider my words and be assured that the 115 year old, undisputed oldest Prowler owner, has spoken.

Enough,

Scot

Sassy, I also would like you to reconsider leaving the POA board. Scott said everything and more. i am still available to you if you need a Prowler to help out at the childrens hospital, just e-mail me at :steve.gary@dana.com.

I've seen many post critizing Sassy and most of the time it is from one member. Never could figure out why he was such a *&%$#. But no one needs to be critized like he did. Never met Sassy but I'm sure she is a fine lady and IS a very valuable asset to this POA. Please reconsider Sassy!! Also let your sons read this thread, so they realize that most of the members are great people, and one rotten apple can destroy alot.

Excellent post Mr. Stern!!!

Seems to me, the wrong one has decided to leave.

Sassy, you will be missed. You have brought much more to this board and the Prowler owners than some of the people that have caused this problem. Maybe a RAY of sunshine will cross your path today,,,oh,,,NeVeRMiND.
Too bad people feel the need to hide just plain bad manners and no class under the veil of free speach.

Like so many other of the "innovative" and valuable items brought forth ... you missed it NVRMND ... but, I'm sure there will be another coming around soon, just hang tight.

And I agree with Scott's post as well .. often times we all need vacations from one thing or another, and life, as Ms. Mama knows, is much too short to let every little thing bug ya ... and THAT should be taught to all our children, lest they end up with ulcers or "hang-ups" as many exhibit on this board (and am sure other boards around the Internet) daily.

Stay / go ... makes no never mind ... there will still be a thriving board without you here or without me here for that matter. Mike and others make this "place" available to us all for our use, enjoyment, education and fun. Take from it what you want, provide what you are able.

I feel you, Sasy are as contraversial as I am ... standing off against "others" on this board regarding privledged and confidential information, rarely providing value to other's posts, yet quick to keep your own threads going and in general, getting the "fire stoked" and then leaving people that are interested in your "ides" high and dry. In my opinion, that is as "constructive" to this forum as my interest in challenging these "smoke and mirrors" posts of yours.

And in conclussion, let me just say ... you must have a really big closet ... as you are on your way to yet another shirt, windshield banner, die-cast or some item from the POA to add to your collection with this actively discussed post. That was meant in jest, btw ... Soooo ... take a breath, take a vacation, and then take a moment to reflect on all your posts since the beginning -- PT Barnum once said; "a sucker is born every minute" ... and we all like to "follow like sheep".

Don't leave.
