What a way to spend Father's Day. We went out to No Problem Raceway early Sunday morning and got to run the ½ mile road course. There was a Kart event on the other part of the 1.8 mile road course. So, Winston had invited some folks out to use the ½ mile course for test & tune or just practice. Karen & I along with my son Beau, daughter Jeannelle & son-in-law Roy met Jimmy Talbot & his son Michael out at the track. We got to run three cars at a time & as many times as we wanted. We had a blast... Everyone got to drive or ride to their hearts desire and the only complaint was from Karen saying she has a little whiplash in her neck (it's actually easier to drive than be a passenger)... We left the track around noon & cruised over to Hymel's for lunch & celebrate Father's Day with my Dad and some of my family. We did get a little rain in the afternoon, but not enough to spoil another terrific day.

Laddie - looked like a great day with family. Congrats!

I spent the day watching NASCAR, Portland CART race, hail-delayed IRL race in Colo. Springs, and Canada F-1 race. Think I'll call in sick today,,,,,,,,,,,,,,exhausted.

Laddie,
Looks like you had a grrrrrrrrrrrrreat time. It's nice to know that your family appreciates you. I wish my Dad were here to celebrate with.

The funniest thing happened right at the beginning... Jimmy & his son, me & Beau were out following Winston to get the line down... Well, Jeannelle & Roy showed up about that time in their Toyota avalon. They saw us & thought we were going to a parking place. They jumped on the track following us & after about two laps Jeannelle calls Beau & says how do we get off the track???
