The vacuum fuel system in my 1928 Plymouth will no longer pickup the fuel in the tank. Car runs fine if you dump fuel in the vacuum tank, but quits as soon as it is empty. I blew out the fuel lines and they are clear. I need to find either someone to rebuild the vacuum tank or a supplier for a six volt electric fuel pump. Any help would be appreciated. ------------------ |

Dave: My father-in-law has a 29 and uses Vintage Auto Parts, Inc. - www.vapinc.com. They have a section on fuel pumps. Hope that helps. He also has another one he uses and I will try and find out. He orders all of his parts via the web and has had great success. Just finished replacing his manifold, etc. this past week - all from the internet. Thanks, Tami ------------------ 2001 Eddie Bauer Expedition This message has been edited by TKFischer on 06-16-2002 at 10:49 PM |
