The stalled car in the passing lane may have stopped a few hearts but the great skill of all the drivers avoided a disaster. They all spread out to block the highway while we pushed the car off the road. You should have seen the look on the girls face who was standing next to her car when a dozen Prowlers came to a screeching stop. ------------------

When we stopped in Deckers it was raining ash on us and I found out they closed that road a few hours after we were through and evacuated the town later that night. I haven't heard how Deckers survived but the fire went right through that whole area. This fire is now threatening south west Denver, Sedalia and Castle Rock. My backyard is full of ash and I'm at least 30 miles away. ------------------
